The H/Hr Summer Ficathon 2006

Welcome, all, to the Harmony Summer Ficathon 2006! I hope it'll be a great experience for everyone.

Please make sure to read the User Info for rules and information before reading this post any further.

(Edited to add: I think everyone who wants to participate should be allowed to - I'm not the type to put big restrictions on things like Ficathons. I remember when I was probably the worst writer in the world - I was horrible! And I want beginners to feel welcome in participating, but please: try really hard to check spelling-grammar thoroughly, and I'd recommend having another writer (there are many at harryhermione, they won't bite!) look it over for plothole-type things, rushing, etc. I don't want anyone to end up feeling dejected because people read their fic and said they butchered the prompt idea.)

It's prompt time! Here's a list (which will continue to grow, hopefully) of prompts which you may choose from to write about. You may, instead, make up your own prompt to write, but make sure to still comment and let me know you did.

1. Harry and Hermione take the kids on a summer vacation... what happens?

2. Harry and Hermione are planning a wonderful summer wedding.

3. After their wedding, Harry and Hermione are going off on a summer honeymoon to remember.

4. H/Hr go to the beach and have fun in the sand and sun. Taken by starromance14

5. H/Hr are throwing a summer party for their friends and family. Who's invited? How does it turn out?

6. Harry and Hermione take their kids to the beach - include sandcastles, sunscreen, and a jellyfish. Taken by abigail89

24. Invent a freaking amazing wizarding theme park/amusement park. Make Harry and Hermione go. Make them have crazy fun. Bahaha.

25. Harry and Hermione are at the beach and lose their kid. They freak out. But um, it all turns out good :-) I hope.


These aren't nearly as many prompts as I'd like there to be... I'll add more when they come to me, and if you have any ideas but don't want to write them, please comment and tell me them, and I'll add them to the list!

And by the way... don't forget to incorporate summer into your fic!
